Fancy is the place to discover and buy amazing things curated by a global community. This app comes from my personal list of favorite apps.

Its an amazing concept, which is carried out in an equally amazing way. The idea is to build a social network with the most fancy items from around the world. Its exciting when you are randomly scrolling to find a thing you fall in love with! Googling a specific product can never be sooooooo exciting.

Let’s go step by step to discover and validate the usability of the Fancy app prototype.

If you haven’t already experienced it (it is an experience), try the Fancy app prototype right here - Fancy the items you love and try buying them. A great experience!

I am sure you would have loved it. So what’s the complete flow of the app? Here’s the sitemap that depicts the complete flow of the Fancy app prototype. Sitemap is a super useful resource when you want to brainstorm the flow of a prototype with your team.

Just using the prototype does not help when you want to iterate on the designs of your prototype . So just share the project with your teammates, clients and real users; and listen to your favorite music track before you get all the UX analysis data right in your account.

These insights are presented in 3 ways –

  • Session Replays (/User videos)

Session Replays records and replays every touch point of your user on your prototype. Its always better to observe than ask them about their friction points. Have a look how someone was trying to use the Fancy prototype.

  • Conversion Funnel

A cumulative qualitative data of all the users who reviewed the prototype. Find out drop-offs on each screen- a clear picture of what’s working and what’s not in your prototype.

  • Interaction Heat Map

Spotting the mock-ups with higher drop-offs is done with the conversion funnel, next is to identify what went wrong on that specific mock-up. So just click on that particular screen, and have a look at the most interact-able area on the heat map.

This was an user analysis on the Fancy app prototype. Are we still missing out on your favorite app? Or do you want us to cover your app on the #Flippd section of CanvasFlip? Do let us know. Drop us a mail on monika[at]canvasflip.com or post it on Facebook on our dedicated group for requests.

Loved the UX insights? Share it with the world.
